Boeing 777 in VIP-configurations

MidEast Jet operates a fleet of 737BBJs, 767 VIP planes and has ordered its 777 in October 1997.
The 777 was delivered to a cabin outfitter in KCNW in November 1998, delivery to airline was in the early 2000's.
In late 2004 MEJ decided to retrofit the 777 with Boeing's Class3-EFB.
"The Boeing EFB delivers technology benefits in a digital format," said David Thomas, MidEast Jet director of operations.
"Adding it reduces the amount of charts, manuals and logbooks our pilots are used to carrying."
The Class3-EFB was installed at Lufthansa Technik's facility in Hamburg, Germany.

In mid-2007 one of the older 777s found a new life with an order from the Government of Gabon.
This ex-British Airways and ex-VARIG 777-200 is in service since Olympia 2008 in Beijing.

In early 2008 Turkmenistan placed an order for one 777-200LR. Currently undergoing VIP-abin outfitting.
