About

Air Austral has received its first 777 in 2003. The first two of Air Austral's 777s were previously operated by Air Europe (Italy).
With the 777 Air Austral connects La Reunion with the french mainland, but also is flying them on routes in southern Africa and on special charter flights to East Asia.
Air Austral's first "own" (leased from ILFC) 77E was delivered on 20th May 2005.
On 21st Aug 2007 ILFC and Air Austral announced a leasing agreement for two 77Ws, with delivery in early 2009.
