Turkish Airlines was leasing 4 777-300ERs from Jet Airways, India (3 years; 2008 - 2011).
First delivery was on 24th December 2008. The Entry-into-Service was to Singapore on 29th Dec, followed by a trip to London and Hong Kong.
THY ordered its first own 777s in May 2009. Only two months later they've added another 7 to the orderbook.
Turkish's first 777 was delivered on 14th October 2010.
