China Southern has placed their order for 777s on 17th December 1992.
CZ was the first airline to fly the 777 across the Pacific, from Guangzhou to Los Angeles. On 2nd August 2007, China Southern celebrated the 10th
anniversary of its 777 flight to LAX. In these 10 years CZ flew more than 500.000 passengers between China and the USA and has grown up a fleet of
10 Boeing 777 and employs 188 pilots for this fleet.
